“White Ribbon” may be considered to be the world’s largest male-led movement to end
men’s violence against women. White Ribbon has primary prevention initiatives, an annual campaign and White Ribbon Day (Nov 25), where men are encouraged to wear a white ribbon as a stance against VAW. They seek to change the attitudes and behaviours that lead to and perpetuate men’s violence against women, by engaging men and boys to lead social change.
